Jan Carter is a native of San Antonio and has been teaching private guitar for 20+ years. She has a history of church involvement as a staff wife and music/worship leader. With a heart for missions, Jan has served the people of the Navajo reservation and offered marriage conferences in Guatemala and Argentina. Her favorite thing about teaching is “seeing the light bulbs come on.”

Christine Daly has a Master of Arts music degree with an emphasis in piano from the University of Wyoming. In addition to teaching students of all ages and levels, she has played for church services, musicals, choirs, and programs for hospital residents. She is grateful to God for providing opportunities to use the gift God has given her.

Colleen Dunn enjoys instructing elementary students to learn piano. She likes teaching because “no two days are exactly the same.” She also teaches our Kindergarten music classes at CHS. Colleen comes from a musical family and has served as a missionary in the Philippines. Individual private lessons in beginning piano are available after school.

Luciano Compian teaches drums and percussion for ages 4 years through 12 th grade. He started playing drums as a young boy and has continued playing throughout his life. He has years of experience in jazz band, symphonic band, and his church worship team. Luciano enjoys taking students from beginning rhythms to complete drum set mastery.

Elizabeth McAlester is a CHS alumni and went on to earn her Music Education degree from Cedarville University. She is our Choral Director and is also a member of the San Antonio Master Singers. Elizabeth is an accomplished songwriter. Her favorite thing about teaching is building relationships with the students. She offers lessons for 3rd -12th grades.

Hannah Ro began playing as a child in South Korea and came to the U.S. for her college education, earning her Bachelor of Music from DBU and Master of Music from TCU, both in piano performance. She loves to watch students grow musically and wants to see them enjoy music as she does. She teaches advanced and all levels. She plays for her church services and other area schools.

Rose Rodriguez was born in Alaska and earned degrees in K-8 Elementary Education and K-12 Choral Music from Northwest University in Kirkland, WA. She teaches elementary art at CHS as well as private piano & voice for young learners. “Seeing the curiosity and joy when the students learn something new” is her favorite part of teaching.

Carolyn Webb serves as the Christian Fine Arts Conservatory Director and as the school accompanist. She has years of experience as a worship pianist for churches and accompanist for schools. She has a Music Education degree from Howard Payne University and toured the U.S. and Canada as a keyboardist for the Heritage Singers performing group. Carolyn has a passion for training worship pianists.
