Engineering Design and Analysis is a dual credit course designed to experience how course assignments, instructor expectations, and grading may differ between high school and college engineering programs. The college course is a spring semester course in which the Engineering students apply for acceptance in November by submitting a portfolio of their high school work.

High school endorsements consist of a related series of courses that are grouped together by interest or skill set. They provide students with in-depth knowledge of a subject area.
To complete a Graduation Endorsement, a student must receive a specified number of course credits.
The following college courses will be available for $100/credit hour. All Dual Credit courses meet the graduation requirements from CCU and Castle Hills. Hours listed are college credit hours.
SOPHOMORE YEAR • 3 hrs
JUNIOR YEAR • 12 hrs
SENIOR YEAR • 19 hrs
Students in this course take the course for High School credit over a full academic year. Students complete hands-on engineering design projects and document their work in notebooks, written reports, and presentations.
Assignments are submitted to the University professors online.
